Dear CC,
I see that the publish date for Kaplan GMAT 800: Advanced Prep for Advanced Students is Apr 6, 2010.
Is this the latest version of the advanced prep guide that you have or has there been an substitute for this which has been published for the latest edition of Official Guide? I currently have the following books from Kaplan with me:
1. Kaplan GMAT Math Foundations
2. Kaplan GMAT Math Workbook
3. Kaplan GMAT Verbal Workbook
4. Kaplan New GMAT Premier 2013 with 5 Online Practice Tests
Please advise which would the advanced prep guide that I would need to use.

Hi GMATajay,
You should definitely begin with Premier 2013. It's a comprehensive course. Although the specific examples may not be advanced level, the techniques within will prepare you for questions of all difficulty levels.
From there, GMAT 800 is still your best bet for advanced level prep. Nothing much has changed--the only things missing from GMAT 800 are Bold-Statement CR questions and, of course, the new IR questions. The Math and Verbal workbooks are useful resources but are not meant for advanced studies.
I hope this helps!
Regards,
Eli

Premier should be fine for advanced Bolded Statement, since most Bold Statement problems are already higher difficulty by default. As for IR, there is no "advanced" IR prep; that section isn't adaptive, and is designed to have all questions be roughly the same difficult!GMATajay wrote:Thanks a lot Eli.
That sure did help.
Please let me know your recommendations for advanced prep on Bold-Statement CR questions and IR questions.
Thanks and Regards,
Ajay
