Perminology plz reply !!

Hi there

Your review seriously had me in two minds about opting for VERITAS.
Given the fact that it's been long since i left studies i really need to work hard in both quant & verbal, starting right from basics.Keeping this in mind,i've been to Princeton, Jamboree(in delhi) & Kaplan but i wasn't convinced. Then again,Veritas comes as highly recommended on many forums & they start right from scratch which is what i originally wanted.

But now i'm again back to square one. Please tell me what is a better option if not VERITAS.I'm from delhi(if that makes any difference in evaluation).

I plan to give gmat in sept. & is it ok if i sign up for prep classes in june.Is this a good strategy ?

Thanks in advance for ur help.

the veritas review just blew me.Just yesterday i had made up my mind to join veritas course because it's common belief that they're good at both quant & verbal.I need serious help in quants,& they start right from basics...steadily pacing it.
Besides, i prefer classroom coaching but if it's as bad as was made out to be i'm seriously having second thoughts. Please help. What's the next best option ??
Who said it is bad? I am attending their online course and I find it very interesting and good enough. Before making such comments, please give context or at least a clue about what you are referring to.

Okay, I still do not know what review are you talking about, may be you can provide a link.

I do not know the quality of Veritas Classroom courses in Delhi, I think they have a tie-up with Career Launcher. In terms of materials, Veritas is right up there.

In terms of preparation time, you have to give 3-4 weeks after your course for the concepts to sink in and be fully prepared. So if it is a 2-3 month course you can start in June and it in August to take the exam in September.

Finally, don't be guided or misguided by an odd voice, you never know what his/her intentions were.

Hi there

Thanks again for being helpful.Since i'm new to BTG i don't know how to upload the link ,suffice to say i came across the post (in question) in "lounge " itself titled MGMAT VIRTUAL VERSUS VERITAS CLASSROOM.You'll come across this veritas assessment by Perminology.

Do check it out. You're right, Career Launcher has a tie-up in Delhi & they emphasise that all their material ie. 17 books are from U.S..The course is spread over 48 hrs. & taken on weekends would take 2 mths. to complete.

I plan to start it in june & keep August for revision & tests. Finally,it's G-time in Sept.

Look forward to hearing from you.
