Hello,

I am applying to the DePaul Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, and one of the essays is:

"In the competitive world of commerce, where profit is a top priority, one can lose sight of the importance and need for ethical decision-making and business practices. Please describe an instance in your professional career in which you were faced with or involved in an ethical dilemma. How did you choose to address the issue? Were you pleased with the end result? How do you think that the situation could have been handled differently?"

I graduated college just 7 months ago and I only have part time internship experience. I really can't think of any good ethical dilemmas to write about from my "professional career"...unless undergraduate extracurricular activities are considered part of my "professional career".

Does anyone have any advice? Should I go with a mediocre dilemma from my actual job experiences, or can I go with a better dilemma that I faced in an extracurricular activity?

Thanks for your feedback.
