At LPU the fee is as per the caliber of the student. It varies with the student’s score and achievements in the previous academic record as well as their performance in LPUNEST. Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends Scholarship Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. Scholarship can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. Apart from the scholarship schemes mentioned below, LPU also offers financial aid to the students belonging to underprivileged students like orphans, persons with disability etc. or some specific groups like Wards of Defence personnel etc.Lovely Professional University launched LPUNEST Study Grant to benefit any deserving candidate from across the country who needs financial support for getting higher education.Under ‘LPUNEST Study Grant’ initiative students can avail financial assistance to study at higher education institutions other than LPU. Any deserving candidate who Qualifies LPUNEST exam can get a study grant of Rs.1 Lac for study education institutions like IITs/ NITs/ IIMs/ NLUs/ IHMs/ NIDs/ IITs (DoD/ IDC)/ IIITDM/ NIFTs OR can get admission to LPU programmes and avail scholarship of upto Rs.6 Lac. The basic fee of mechanical engineering at LPU is 1,20,000 per semester which get reduced by 50% to 60,000 if the candidate’s score in LPUNEST is Above the cut-off 1 or if he/she has 95% marks or above in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics). The scholarship availed by the candidate is applicable through out the course duration. And it is worth paying even this much at LPU because LPU has an impressive track record of academic, placement, entrepreneurship and related support services which have resulted in spectacular all-round achievements and healthy career progression of students. Dear candidate , you can take admission in B.Tech.(Mechanical Engineering (ME)) programme in LPU , which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal etc specialization. The eligibility criteria is - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST*. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.

In addition , the programme fees per semester is 140000 INR , without any scholarship . It will be reduced after qualifying test . If you qualify LPUNEST test under category first , then you will get scholarship of up to 50% in programme fees, that will be remain applicable till the duration of course . Total fees will be depend upon your preference of room and other facilities . Moreover , you will get scholarship in test too, so your programme fees will be changed after that .
