should I get the OG 13 guide?

by kunalkulkarni » Thu Jul 05, 2012 6:14 pm
Hi Folks,
I recently started preparing for GMAT from June and completed the Princeton review with verbal and Math sections. I wish to attack the IR now and was working out the best possible option for this. Then, I came across the OG 13 guide and found many people recommending it. I already have soft copies (PDF) of 11th and 12th edition.
1. should I purchase the OG 13th edition for IR? Does it include questions which are different from 11th and 12th edition?
2. Also, should I practice some other books for Math and verbal?
Thanks in advance,

The OG is really an invaluable source, especially that you need to become familiar with the new IR section. From what I have heard there aren't that many new questions in the 13 ed. in comparison with the OG 12. However, I would recommend getting it for the Integrated Reasoning practice.

Have you taken the IR section on the new GMATPrep software yet? If you are scoring well on that, then you probably don't need the additional IR practice from the OG 13. If not, you may want to consider purchasing it so you can get the additional 50 practice questions.

Thanks Kasia and 'NextGreatLeader'
I will first take the test on GMATPrep software and then evaluate how well I am at IR.
appreciate your inputs,

Kunal

Hi,
I introspected and realized that the GMAT prep test is something I will keep reserved after I am done with my preparations.
Thus, I would like to start studying exclusively for the IR. I am planning to get the OG 13 soon. Meanwhile, can you please suggest me any other sources to study for IR?
Thanks,
Kunal
