Although the technicians, whom the manager distrust, spent hours conducting repairs, the computer, which are used by most of the staff, are still broken.

Task 1:---Find all the sub-verb agreement errors?

Task 2:- What is the main subject and main verb?

Task 3:- Indicate all the relative clauses?

This question is for your own revision purpose guys. Go ahead..

Task1:
1. Although the technicians (Sub) spent(verb) hours conducting repairs - Agreement is fine
2. The computer(Sub) are(verb) still broken. Agreement is wrong

Task2 : main Sub - The Computer Main Verb : Are ( which is wrong)

Task 3: Relative Clause : Whom, Which

Correct me if I missed something.
Regards
Abhishek

just to add on to abhishek's notes, the relative clauses have an SV error
whom the manager distrusts
which is used by most of the staff
we can even make computers plural and let the remaing verbs be as it is i suppose.

Quick Question:

"whom the manager distrusts".
can "whom" [object] refer to plural "technicians"??

My approach...ask question from verb...who distrust/distrusts?????

clearly its the manager not technicians...hence distrusts...
