GMATPrep CAT Take 2

by adamv30 » Mon Jul 13, 2009 7:49 pm
After a few weeks of struggling with my confidence, I took one of the GMATPrep CATs tonight and scored a 630 which is a 60 point increase from my last attempt (570). I am very pleased with this but I am a little concerned as to how much, if any, my score was inflated due to the fact I am drawing from the same question pool. It has been approx. a month since I took it the first time.

Any past experiences/advice with this?

Saving the second one for right before I take the real deal

Thanks

Hi there. I took GMAT prep one twice and GMAT prep two twice. It really depends on how many questions you recognised, as from my experience there are a decent amount of questions available in the GMAT prep question bank.

One thing though is if you do recognise questions you will normally solve them quickly therefore saving you time on other parts.......so the timing of the exam will not be realistic.

My first GMAT prep I got 740. The repeat 760. And the real thing 730. If that helps......
