OK- I studied the of OG 1th edition (yellow book) and Verbal 11th edition (purple) yet still want to do in depth practice. I need the explanations in the back of the book to learn from. WHere can I go for this extra paractice. I am close to my desired point but need my pracitce, since I devote 3-4 hours a day to my studies.

Studious one~

If you've exhausted OG, then the next set of practice materials should come from: Kaplan, Manhattan GMAT, or Princeton Review. They are all high quality materials in my view!

Thank you , I have improved my speed, endurance, and scores drastically with OG. DO you recommend to stick with it and study the 10th edition OG? Or should I move onto the Kaplan and Manhattan!?

Perhaps skim through the 10th edition if you have it, but skip the questions that are reputation. Otherwise, the other prep materials I recommended will provide good practice for you.

After OG, finish of the Verbal and Qaunt official suplement.
After that I would recommend completing the 1000 sets, i.e. 1000 SC, 1000 CR and 1000 RC.
Then do as many complete test as you can get...
Then start participating in forums, solving other peoples problems... ;) teaching is one of the best ways of learning....

Great observation, simplyjat. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to participate in these discussions, it truly forces you to understand the concepts when you have to teach it to others.

have you downloaded the paper test from GMAC ... available from mba.com.
These are real GMAT exam questions from the old paper exams GMAC used to set.
I dont know much the questions have changed since the older (paper version) days of the exam ? Can anyone comment on this ?

Thanks.

As far as I know, there's been little change in terms of questions from these older tests. One caveat to people: don't take your performance on these paper practice tests as an indicator of your performance, since the GMAT is computer adaptive and scores the real test very differently.
