Because we don't need contrast here...therefore we don't need "but" as a conjunction in 2nd IC , we need "and".[email protected] wrote:12. The GMAT is indeed adaptable. Whenever I answer RC, it proficiently 'adapts' itself to mark my 'right' answer 'wrong'.
