Hey,
I'm taking the GMAT in about 5 days and I was wondering what my strategy should be. I am generally confident although I am a little concerned about whether I have done enough. I've done a lot of practice questions but not a lot of practice tests but in those tests, I haven't had much problems with timing. I've also done 2 sets of 99+ 700+ level questions.
What should my preparation strategy be for the last 5 days? I don't want to take any more practice tests and take any unwanted stress. Any tips?
My GMAT strategy is to stay focused, let a question go if I am clueless after 2 minutes and do my best on the test!
GMAT on 2nd September

im in the same situation
so far, i think ur dead meat.
nah..... just kidding
i got the same issue. never given a GMAT before, so, i am just hoping it goes good.
one thing to remember is, IT IS NOT A PAPER STYLE TEST. therefore, its really hard to crash the test. if you get some questions wrong, the next ones are easier, and as you build your rythm, things get better no matter what.
like I read in a book; you would have to worse than a donkey to fuck up the test completely. getting a really low score would mean that an actual chimp was sitting on the chair.( i hope thats not you, if that dont describe you, dont worry so much)
the test revolves around and gives you the score you are at. unlike a paper test, where whatever questions are there, would stay there.

well i'm in a similar situation as you, only i'm taking mine on sept 1st. this weekend i'm going to lay low studying-wise.. i did a few math problems from the official guide today, and i might review some sentence correction this weekend since that's always given me some problems. then on monday im going to take one full length test to get my mind ready for the following day. on test day im just going to take it easy and listen to music on the way to the exam.
my only advice is to take a CAT if you havent already done so (the computer tests) - specifically, the gmat preptest. that way, you will fully know what to expect on test day.

hehe in the same boat here, I´m taking my exam on friday the 4th.
Basically I´m just trying to get hold of what I already have. This means reviewing questions I´ve signaled for whatever reason and a "closing" (hopefully!) CAT. I´ve taken a MGMAT CAT (the fifth) on thursday (660) and going to take GMATPrep 2 (1st time) on monday. I´m scoring just a little bit under my dream score (710), so it´s basically polishing and ensuring I get there in the best mental condition for me.
Best of lucks to everybody!
