Kaplan tests:- Help me please

Hi friends,

Please help me out. After my Kaplan tests I am really frustrated . Again feeling like a looser . Below are my scores . Test in next 3 week .


Test 1

Quant :- 31 Correct 6 incorrect score:-50
Verbal:- 20 correct 18 incorrect score 29

Total - 590

Test2
------------------------
Quant:- 30 correct 7 incorrect score:- 44
Verbal:-26 correct 15 incorrect score:- 33

Total 640

------------------------

Test 3
------------------------
Quant:- 29 correct 8 incorrect score:- 38
verbal 27 correct 14 incorrect score :- 33

Total 590

Please give any suggestions from your experiences ...

First, only you can make yourself be a "loser" by setting up that mental comparison. I'm surrounded by people in my home town who have never even heard of the GMAT - even though some of them would probably score horribly on the GMAT, they don't consider themselves losers...and you're ahead of them.

Second, I've heard Kaplan lowers their test scores...makes their guarantee easier to prove I suppose. So your performance on actual GMAT will likely be a little higher.

But as for what to do, simply breaking down verbal vs math isn't enough. Are you performing worst in PS, DS, SC, CR, or RC? From there, you can pinpoint what areas to practice.

And stop taking practice tests lol: seems like you need to break the concepts down and figure out where you are weak, instead of broadly practicing questions.
