I can't figure out on the website where to give an actual review to the 60 day guide so I decided to post it here. I took the GMAT yesterday after following the guide for the last 60 days and I scored a 750! I'm an actor in New York so luckily I had the time to study during the day before I went to perform at night but sometimes it definitely felt like two full time jobs! My first diagnostic test two months ago was a 590, mostly because I hadn't taken a math class since I was 17 and 12 years later was having trouble remembering what a circle was, much less how to find its area. The guide got me up to a 7 in IR, 49 (81st percentile) in Quant., and 44 (98th percentile) in Verbal equaling a 750 overall. I can't say enough about the effectiveness of the step by step process that was put forward by the makers of the guide and I will recommend it to all of my friends (oddly enough, there are always tons of actors who contemplate B-school of some sort). Thanks again for helping take at least one stress away during this process!

Hi Ryan,
Congrats on the great score & good luck with the apps
As a side note, would you recommend someone to buy just the video course included in the 60 day guide if they don't have more than a month to prepare for the GMAT?
Thanks & Regards,
Vivek

Mevicks - Yes, I would still recommend the video series. The 60 day series uses the videos for the first 40 days I think, but if you just wanted to focus on the places where improvement is necessary they are still a great resource. They do a wonderful job of spelling things out with examples and questions that deal with the issues that are being discussed. Good Luck!

I just wanted to point out that our (GMAT Prep Now) videos can be used for all 60 days of the Guide. However, Day 42 is the last day of new content (see https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-guide-outline for an outline for all 60 days), and after that, students take practice tests and work on their areas of weakness.ryanstrand wrote: The 60 day series uses the videos for the first 40 days I think, but if you just wanted to focus on the places where improvement is necessary they are still a great resource. Hey Brent
Somehow I am not able to get the 60-day Study guide operational on my email id. It says "Thank you! You will receive your first email within 24 hours." but I am afraid I have been waiting and have used two different emails on two different occasions. Please suggest.
I have my GMAt on sept 15. Eager to star Sir
Thanks

Yes I have written to the Admin through the link you sent. Could you please, additionally , lemme know how exhaustive would the 60-day course + Manhattan guides+ The Official Guide for GMAT Quantitative/ Verbal Review (2nd Edition) be, from the standpoint of course content that must be covered to practice later?
Cheers

Those materials should be sufficient.
The best way to gauge how many resources you'll need (and how many hours you'll need to prepare) is to take a full-length practice test (https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/download-fr ... tware.aspx)
You'll take a practice test on Day 3 of the Study Guide.
Cheers,
Brent
