I'm disappointed that I wasn't able to at least get a 40 on the quant side. I have a liberal arts background, so I guess it is not surprising that my score is pretty pedestrian compared with other GMAT takers.
I am not applying to elite programs, (the two schools on my list are Penn State and Arizona State) but I am hoping on securing a fairly large amount of merit-based financial aid. I'm interested in pursuing a supply chain management focus.
How will my quant score affect my chances? I know it is above the median, but is it too low to be considered competitive for merit scholarships? Will my strong Integrated Reasoning help me in that regard?
Did I beat the GMAT? (690 Q39 V44)

Hi topspin20,
First off, 690 is a great score, so congratulations. Since your questions seem more "admissions-based", you might consider posting these questions in the Admissions Consultants Forum. You're certainly in good shape to apply at Penn State and Arizona State, so that shouldn't be a concern. My suspicion is that the particular scholarships that you'll be looking into will be based on a number of factors, not just your GMAT score.
