If P, Q, and R are positive integers

by Vincen » Wed Sep 27, 2017 6:09 pm
If P, Q, and R are positive integers, what is the remainder when R - Q is divided by 3?

(1) R = P^3
(2) Q = (P - 2)^3

The OA is C.

I know that the statements alone are not sufficient, but I don't know how to use them together. Can any Expert show me how to use both statements?
