(1001^2-999^2)/(101^2-99^2)=?

Any algebric approach?

There is a formula in algebra

A^2 - B^2 = (A+B)*(A-B)

try using this in this question. :)

Using the formula Durgesh used,

the problem reduces to : (2000 * 2)/(200*2) = 10

The answer is 10.
