Teleconferencing is a sensible solution to the problem of educating high school students in remote Alaskan villages. Students in villages with less than 50 high school students could be linked via the Internet to educators in other locations. If this plan were successful students would receive a superior education compared to that currently being provided by local educators.

Which of the following, if true, could most appropriately be used by proponents of this plan as evidence of the strength of their plan?

(A) A high speed teleconferencing system would require a major investment in satellite and computer equipment.
(B) With teleconferencing, students could take several courses, each from a different teacher who is an expert in that particular subject.
(C) The majority of high school students in the state of Alaska go to schools with more than 50 students.
(D) Several new high schools are being built in the urban areas of Alaska.
(E) A large proportion of Alaskan high school students do not currently have access to the Internet

It of course, would require major investment but the writer seeks to look at the advantages of the writer seeks to look at the advantages of the proposition rather than the money to be spent on it which of course, would dissuade investors.

Option B: Right
This is true according to the views of the writer, the most concise and precise of all the options regarding the proposals as this bothers on educating the students using science and technology advancement and reaching out to more students with as many tutors in as many subjects as possible.

Option C: Wrong
Very true though a clear definition deviation which does not really infer if the numbers being brandished concisely referred to it as major or minor. Speculative and not accurate enough to conclude as such.

Option D: Wrong
Incorrect and inaccurate deductions. No suggestion were made by the proponent for new schools to be built or are reported to be ongoing presently.

Option E: Wrong
For the fact that they are in remote villages does not really inferred that they are out of range as regards internet connections, yes a large proportion may be accurately predicted by the writer but it does not state emphatically the reason for the subject matter discussed.
