Ive been thinking much about business schools. I recently scored a 690 on my gmat, have been in the workforce since January, and have a decent GPA (3.2) with plenty of extraciricular activities. My university (U of Missouri) where I received my undergrad is decent, better than many. I am contemplating going back for my MBA, but several friends I have mentioned this too say that it is a bad think to go back for two degrees.
Its got alot of upsides..... I can graduate in a year and a half and might even get a free ride. BUT in terms of competitiveness will I be less or more competitive in the job market by going back?
Opinion?
Thank you.

I don't see how this would affect your job prospects. I went to USC, where many, many, many of the business grad students were USC undergrad alums. I never heard anyone mention that it hurt them in the job market.

The only time I've heard that one shouldn't attend the same grad school as undergrad is for academic Ph.D. programs, since it's good to see other perspectives and work with new professors. But, this doesn't relate to MBAs.

So, if you want to stay at Mizzou, go for it!
