I think the Answer is D!

A and B are out becuase it does not specifically refer to the levels. Does it refer to material level or mystical level?

E the correct idiom is contact...through not contact....due to. Eliminate.

Between C and D the correct idiom when discerning two options is the former or latter. The last is not idiomatically correct. latter here refers to mystical level.

In E, we have due to which is not correct in this case.
due to = one thumb rule is, due to is preceded by TO BE verb.
