I Chose A, am I correct?
1) x>75;
therefore y>157.5; i.e. y will be greater than 75 hence 1 alone is sufficient to answer the question.
2) y-x=10;
y=x+10;
x+10>2.1x;
1.1x<10;
11x<100;
x<100/11;
i.e. x<9.09;
now suppose x is 9; therefore we have;
y>2.1(9);
y>18.9;
i.e. y can be either 19, 20, 21,...76... and so on i.e. we cannot said with the surety whether y is going to be greater than 75 or not.. hence 2 alone is not sufficient to answer the question hence answer should be A

wat about this
take condition 2 y=x+10
y>110% of x => y> x+x/10
x+10 > x+x/10
x/10<10
x<100
so value of x may even be 1 where y=1.1
so insufficient
take condition 2 y=x+10
y>110% of x => y> x+x/10
x+10 > x+x/10
x/10<10
x<100
so value of x may even be 1 where y=1.1
so insufficient

I would like to add something less significant in terms of the answer:
y is greater than 110 percent of x => y>1.1x, not 2.1x
Cheers!

Remember, math wording is very precise - moving one important word around can completely change the meaning of the question.
If the question had read:
then we'd have:If y is 110 percent greater than x...
y = 2.1x
The only way we can get y > 2.1x is if the question had read:
orIf y is greater than 110 percent greater than x...
If y is greater than 210 percent of x...
