I gave my GMAT exam on 7th Feb 2011 and got a very disappointing 620(Q 47, v27). I scored 690 in my last mock (GMAT prep) which I gave a week earlier. In my last 4 mocks I scored the folllowing:

1.) PowerPrep(Old version) 1st Mock: 650
2.) PowerPrep(old version) 2nd Mock: 660
3.) Gmat Prep CAT1: 640
4.) GmatPrep CAT2: 690

I have been scoring consistently above 46 in quant and above 32 in verbal. I was shocked to see my verbal score in the final exam which was very unexpected. I invested 4 months in my prepration and have solved OG 12th edition and Kaplan Premier.

I am planning to retake the exam and need guidance on which prep materials to refer and which tests to take. I figured out that i started taking CAT's pretty late in my prepration which could have impacted my performance. I also need guidance on how to go about the prepration now for the next 3 months .
Please advise.

I gave on the 17th and your shock is just tickling for myself
GMAT Prep 20 days to exam (Q49, V34)
MGMAT mock 5 days to exam (Q48, V34)
actual exam (Q35, V16)
My knowledge frontiers came to evolve the GMATPill's methods - the credited study means to boost the Verbal competence. I really like their videos, especially for RC, CR and SC. You do check their study methods at https://www.gmatpill.com
