On further analysis, i found E to be changing the meaning!

What does E change in meaning ? It looks fine to me ...

"although the climate is Europe is fairly humid" is an appositive phrase set off by two commas. The MEANING of the parenthetical is "because libraries are not subjected."

The "although" is like a side-note, anticipating the reader's confusion as to why the books would not be damaged by humidity.

Should be E. Please provide OA.

Initially, I picked E but reading again I felt A is a better option.
