Even within the same study, people responded quite differently to acupuncture, some showing increased flexibility, while others did not.

a)some showing increased flexibility, while others did not.

b)with some showing increased flexibility, while others did not.

c) with some showing an increase in flexibility and others did not.

d)some showing an increase in flexibility, while others not.

e)with some showing increased flexibility and others not.

IMO - E

In A,B,C 'did not' seems to be incorrect. Therefore eliminated.
Between D and E, I picked E because the 'with' here seems to be adding more information to the study presented.

a hard one.

and is wrong, while is correct.

in B, while... need a previous clause. B is wrong. grammatical problem, not logic problem.

in C, "while other not" is wrong. we need "while others dit not". this is grammatical problem/rule prlblem

A is left

Surely you can put in more effort while giving an explanation.

I will go with E

What is OA? Please :?:

imo A
Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that! Since the word showing needs to be repeated, I eliminated A, B, & C because did not cannot be followed by showing. I was confused between D & E and choose D because IMO while demonstrates contrast, the entire D phrase is an Apposition. However I may be wrong :(

What is the OA please ?

This is a parallelism case. We are comparing 2 ways in which people responded, by:
1. "showing" increased flexibility, and
2. "did" not

This seems awkward now doesn't it? This awkwardness is solved only by option D. IMO, D should be the right answer.
