I am going to take the GMAT at the beginning of August.
Deadline for Columbia MBA 16 MONTH PROGRAM is October 7th.
If i submit my application at the beginning of August, how many real chances do i get to be admitted to the JAnuary term? Is it too late two months before?
I do really thank you very much!
Greetings from Italy,
Alessio

Hi A,
Thanks for your post. Overall, you have a strong background and likely a good candidate for the program. However, are you applying for the accelerated program? If so, you need think about how you want to position yourself, as they (accelerated program) look for candidates that are planning to go back to their pre-MBA field. Are you planning to go back to consulting?

N

Hi, thank you for replying.
Yes, my plan is getting back into the consulting industry for two main reasons:
1) it is the field i like better, the one towards which i realy feel excited and I am definitely willing to go ahead
2) it is very likely Deloitte Consulting will pay most of the tuition (by the way, is that a real good point in terms of chances to be admitted?)
Two months before the deadline (oct 7th) is too late?
Until what date do i really get chances to be seriously considered?
Last question..
Probably you have not dealt with many questions like this, but as i am european i need a high ibt toefl score and on the columbia website it is clearly stated that no minimum score is required, do you maybe know what kind of score is considered sufficient?
I do really thank you again,
Alessio
