Well, I would suggest starting to look into schools where your GMAT lies in the 80%, plus into any schools you have dreamed about. Make a BIG list of all schools you MIGHT be interested in. And then you start your research: into location, school life, employment opportunities, etc. Which should hopefully lead you to come up with a "short list". And then, once you have taken your GMAT and have your REAL score, then you need to figure out your strategy.

Hello,
I am Shantanu from India, I am planning to give GMAT this July (2012), but before putting an effort i would like to know which schools my profile can offer me at a score of 700 and what are those schools that need some more effort to tap and what should be the presentable score.
Profile:
I am an Electrical Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering, comes in top 10 colleges for Engg in India
CGPA - 7.9/10
Present Work ex - 8 months, Procurement Dept, Bechtel India Pvt. Ltd. By the time I will go for MBA my work ex would be around 2years and 2 months
Extra Curri - Cannot make you count here, but most recent: I hold the position of Vice-Chairman, Socials Committee, Next Gen Club Bechtel India.
Served a NGO by teaching financially backward kids for 2 Months.
I want to pursue my career in Supply chain Management or Operations to become a consultant in the field.
Do I have a chance to get into top 25 schools, which reflect placement in Consultancies like McKinsey, Bane, BCG.
My own list for B-schools is
Insead
Indian School of Business
Kellogg
NYU
Yale
Tuck
Please help me out, i am very confused.

Actually, the list you gave is a pretty good one assuming a 700+. Kellogg and Tuck will be a bit of a stretch maybe given your background. I would maybe add one or two to the list: Tepper, Johnson, Anderson, Kenan-Flagler.

Do you think my 2 years of Work ex will give me a decent chance against these colleges?
I would like to know exactly what to aim before pulling the trigger.
Your cooperation is anticipated.
With regards,
Shantanu

2 year is a bit on the low side. It depends on what you have done. Have you performed exceptionally well during those 2 years? Then yes! Or have you done so little than you can barely scrape out some stories? Then maybe wait.
Keep in mind that if schools average 36, 45 months for the people they accept then if you are working AGAINST the average you should have a) an advantage b) a good reason for why now.
