does "bisect" ALWAYS mean to cut a line or an angle into two EQUAL parts?
i think that i saw a question, in which "bisect" just meant to divide, but not into two EQUAL parts. unfortunately, i don't find this question any more.

In Geometry, the term 'bisect' means to divide an angle, line segment, or other figure into two equal parts.
In the particular question 'bisect' must have been used wrongly.
