Tested idiom: The more X, the more Y. Here you can replace more with other comparative words such as greater, higher, lower ... etc.

Only A uses the idiom correctly.
The other options change the intended meaning. Hence A is correct.

This question tests parallelism and idioms
The greater X .... the higher Y,
clearly others violate this hence A is the answer..
