Anyone taken the TOEFL?

by VirtualM » Mon Mar 26, 2007 7:00 am
Has anyone taken the TOEFL? A friend told me that after the GMAT, the TOEFL is very easy. If I consistently got 86-96% in the Verbal section of the GMAT tests, would I still have to do much studying for the TOEFL? Can it be done with a minimal amount of review (ie. one night review session)?

And I did it feel, I should have waited for GMAT. Yes it would help a lot. Tho' toefl is much easier than GMAT.

Dear VM,
adding to Kanchan's said,
I believe GMAT is much important than TOEFL. And I know some people actually studied for TOFEL for a night.

ya ur right, u dont have to slog for the toefl with good gmat prep at hand. But do not take it for granted that the exam would be dead easy or so. Specially the reading part, the rcs are really long and we find it difficult to keep pace with the time, so a min of 3 to 5 days of prep would do to be on a safer side..!!
Thanks and regards.
