Background- I am an Economics Graduate with 10 years of experience. Its after a long time I have started studying for any exam.
In 2009 I took Manhattan Gmat classes ($1500) but could never give the test.
That said I have almost all the material in hand.
I started my preparation 2 weeks back and have done around
150 - DS question and 200 PS from OG .
In between have read lot of success stories from Beat The GMAT.
And I am sure I will soon be posting my story. I am planning to write GMAT in first week of August.
Today I gave my first CAT exam - MGMAT
Quant - 31
Verbal -28
Score - 510 .
The idea to post in this forum is to get positive feedback on how to improve and what direction should I take my preparation. This forum will be my Mentor and Study Buddy
Today I am reviewing my exam.
Plan for Next Week:
1. Manhattan SC + Ques from OG12
2. Completed DS.
GMAT Diagnostic Test 510 -> How to go ahead?

I would say don't worry too much about the total score but review your test today and see how you fared in each section.
Prepare well for SC(MGMAT SC), CR (Powerscore CR Bible) and PS(OG to start with). These are absolute areas where one can improve. RC and DS are all about practice.

Vineesh,
Just telling you what I know and think. I am not the expert.
