A rectangular sheet of metal measures 18 by 15. If four squares each of an even integer side x are cut from the four corners of this metal sheet to form an open box, then what is the ratio in the volume and the surface area of the box so formed?
(1) If four squares each of side 3x/2 are cut from the four corners of this metal sheet to form an open box, then the volume of the box so formed will be 324.
(2) The ratio x to y is 2.
