we have to find 2p + n = ?

from 1 :
5p + 7n = 53
it is a good method to solve this equation by putting numbers.
Since 7 is bigger than 5, hence we will have to put smaller number of values for n.

Doing this way, we get p =5, n =4
So, 2p + n = 14

Hence, sufficient.

From 2,
6p+ 3n =14
taking 2 out as common factor, 2p + n =14
This is what was needed to be found out.

Hence, suffcient.
