Before you guys get on my back for "not" studying. I listened to the advice of many people and bought 3 of the 5 Manhattan Quant books that I needed help with the most: # Properties, Equations/Inequalities/VICs, and Word Problems. I do not know what happened....My Verbal went down from a 35 to a 34 I admit I practiced a little bit less due to increased emphasis on Quant ...but my QUANT went down too!!! I mean I SERIOUSLY prepared even more than this past summer before my July 22nd exam. My Quant went down from a 41 to a 39...I mean during my exam this time around I paced better and was more confident, less stressed and more relaxed while staying focused and efficient...I expected a 660 or above. When I saw my score I couldnt believe what I was reading.....It took me a few seconds ( I had to take off my glasses and squint) to see my score of 600!!!
I am really discouraged and I feel like I have only wasted 3 months rather than gained anything. I gave up my social life, part of my work schedule (part-time), and other activities just to INCREASE My score EVEN more....
Please give me advice because I feel like I am a complete failure right now and my dream of a 660-690 score is fast disappearing.....Even my 620 score isn't competitive for schools like Texas A&M and UT Dallas, TCU, SMU right now...(maybe their bottom tier).....
Need advice...REtook GMAT today 600 ...took it in July 620..

I did pick up Manhattan SC and did practice CR and RC on verbal diligently in my off time. I also did read online articles with a reading speed device that would read the words line by line to me so I can improve my comprehension. Do you guys think my low schools are just due to focus and concentration rather than inability or "brain"?
