640 (Q48/V28)

by raghav89 » Wed Sep 14, 2011 3:51 am
Ok i started working on the gmat a couple of months back. Basically i worked with the following

MGMAT 5 guides math which i studied comprehensively (I'd recommend them too)
MGMAT Sentence correction

Truth be told i hardly practiced CR and RC but even then my verbal score was never this low.

Summary of my tests

Princeton 1 620 (Q48/V29) a month back
Powerprep 1 690 (Q50/V34) 2 weeks back
Gmatprep 1 640 (Q42/V37) 3 days ago

Gave the paper today and got 640

Made a stupid error where i didn't confirm my last quant answer so that probably hit me with a penalty

Verbal i never really thought was THAT bad to be honest. But i got 28.

The score is a little imbalanced, thats the only worry. If you want to take the retest, you should.

I just wrote that after the paper.

To be honest i got exactly what i deserved. A poor mark in english for neglecting it. I've going to work hard and my aim is a 700. Anything less is not acceptable.
