Meaning: Hawthorne works is probably a department in the Western electric company where an intensive series of experiments were carried out in the mid 1920s. The purpose of the experiments was to investigate the effects of changes in working condition of workers on their performance..goelmohit2002 wrote:Can someone please tell what does this sentence mean ?
Hope it is clear to you now..
IMO B
a] as to their effects is unidomatic
b] perfect.. series of experiments requires the participle investigating.. that clearly gives info on the effects that were being investigated
c] multiple issues here.. scene for investigating .. doesnt make sense.. should be effects "on" instead of "in" redundant "what are"
d] & e] the underlined part is describing the scene and not the experiments.. so scene that investigated and scene to investigate portray a different meaning.. that the scene was investigating..
One love, one blood, one life. You got to do what you should.
