Why arthur oppose martha argument?

Because martha asserts that the proposal for converting land into trials must be dismissed.

Option D support this.

D is the answer no doubt.

As far as why B is not correct - look at the scope. Marta only talks about walking trail and Arthur tries to justify the need for a walking trail. There is no mention at all at any point that Marta wants to look at other recreational areas. The only recreational option mentioned was The Walking Trail to which Marta said there be other productive ways to use the land - it MAYBE another recreational option or something totally different - thats not our concern nor in our scope

Hence, for the info we have, Arthur assumes Marta wants to just dismiss the notion of using it as a Walking Trail without giving it further thought
