Age - 30 today
Gender - Female
With a GMAT score of 720 what schools should I aim for?
Exp - 8 years as an engineer in the silicon valley in mid-size companies like AMD etc
Have experience handling customer accounts although I haven't managed people
Post-MBA Goals - Business Development & Strategy in tech, Finance
Undergrad - Electrical Engineering from Cornell. GPA - 2.9 downward trend. Took 5 years to graduate
Grad - Electrical Engineering from a local school. GPA - 3.7. Took 5 years to graduate as I took classes on and off while working full-time. Is 5 years for a part-time Masters a deal-breaker to get into a good school?
I'm not sure if my academic history can be offset by my GMAT etc
Schools of interest - INSEAD, HEC-Paris, LSB, Duke, Ross
Thanks a lot for the help.
What schools can I aim for at my age with the profile I have

Hi,
Thanks for sharing your profile. I think that overcoming your low academic scores and academic history is going to be somewhat tough. Ross, INSEAD and LBS may be reach schools in light of this issue. Duke may be possible, but I wouldn't call it safe. I'd suggest programs like Cornell, Tepper, etc. and I would add a lower tier safety to the mix in case the academic history proves a real barrier.
Best of luck,
Mili
