total distance = 2km + 200m + 300m = 2500mTwo trains are 2 kms apart. Speed of one train is 20m/s and the other train is running at 30 m/s .Lengths of the trains are 200 and 300m. In how much time do the trains cross each other?
relative speed = 20 + 30 = 50 m/s (both trains are approaching each other)
time in which trains cross each other = 2500/50 s = 50s.

total distance need to be covered=2km=2000m
total distance that needs to be covered by trains=2000m+length of Ta+length of Tb
2500m
relative speed=50m/s(add the speed since they are travelling in opposite direction)
time=2500/50=50s
