The author of the newspaper artice cites that there is a redevelopment proposal for the blighted inner-city neighbourhood has prompted criticism from senior citizens, advocates of low and middle-income housing, and community residents fearful of inconvenience or even displacement. It is poposed in the redevelopment plan that the area will be truned into a lanscape marked with upscale apartment buildings and will also help in contributing to the number of construction jobs. I agree with the author of the article that such redevelopments should take place but i also agree that these redevelopment should not take place at the cost of suffering to the people living in the area.

Agreed, It is necessary to redevelop a area which is in blighted condition. Overall image of the city depends on its infrastructure. If the infrastructre is not good then it may cause may problems such as Inefficient use of land, inefficient use of amenties, improper road construction, poor and congusted living conditions, may lead to increase in death rate of residents because of diseases and so forth. All these factors contribute to the overall picture of the area and when these necessities are absent they give a bad impression not only to that area but also to the nation as a whole.

Admittedly, The proposed redevelopment can be a problem to people who live in the area, relocating can be difficult for many people to adjust in a new environment and also not to forget senior citizens who are towards the end of their life and who want to spend their last days peacefully may have to face a major tubulence in their lives due to the redevelopment but the local people should also consider the benefits which they will recieve once the construction is over. They will have proper road, housing and they will contribute to efficient use of land and creating numerous construction jobs in the country.

Finally in conclusion, though redevelopment is necessary for a area to delevop, it may cause a lot of roblems to the people who live in the area. The authorities and the local residents should come together and participate actively in order to find a common ground, which will benefit both the residents and the authorities.

This seems like it should be an Analysis of the Argument essay - can you post the question itself?
