Unprepared for Scheduled GMAT

by SCBSchool » Fri May 11, 2012 9:36 am
I took a practice test 2 days ago (Manhattan GMAT) and got a 520 which is significantly lower than I would like to score on the exam.

I realized that I made a TON of stupid mistakes and while reviewing the test, prior to looking at the answers for questions that I got wrong, I attempted to solve them again. In many cases, I got the correct answer.

There is no turning back as my test is scheduled for Wednesday. I am looking to possibly use this test as a dry run, but I'm not sure if I should plan to cancel my score. Does that seem a bit too self-defeating?

I'm not giving up and I'll study like crazy all weekend, but I've heard that offical GMAT scores tend to be a bit lower than practice test scores.

Any advice/comments are welcome!

Havent taken the test yet, but based on what i have heard - take gmatprep and relax. Confidence is as important as working hard. If you think too much about 520 you will probably end up around there. Just me 2c
