Tutor for GMAT

by rosh26 » Tue Jul 01, 2008 6:36 pm
Can anyone suggest a good private tutor for GMAT instruction...

I am considering...

Manhattan Review private tutoring

Powerscore private tutoring

I really want to do MGMAT private tutoring, (since I have all they're books) but its just too costly for me

Any thoughts - I'm in the NYC area...

I don't know much about the Manhattan Review or Powerscore tutors--MGMAT is great, but would it be too costly even with the BTG member discount?

Yeah, it's about $240 an hour, and i'm looking at a minimum of 10 hours.

For me, thats just too much right now...and I feel like a tutor is good depending on who it is and how they teach, not necessarly what company they are from.

Although, I do think all the tutors from MGMAT would be great, and there is no risk involved...

I just dont know what other company I could go to where I can find respectable tutors.
