Is it worth it to wait for the 2009 Kaplan Books?

I'm planning to write the GMAT some time at the end of the summer. I was about to buy a 2008 Kaplan prep book but noticed that the 2009 editions are due out on July 1st:

Will it make any difference if I waited?

Look at the descriptions for both. Unless they've added a bunch of new features to it, the 2009 edition will be a lot like the 2008.

I'm not sure what has changed but the test format isn't going to change this year so you should be fine with Kaplan 2008 book. Make sure that you get the Official guides 11th edition of all the volumes.

If you're wondering if the 2009 Kaplan CAT exams will be updated, my 2008 CD contained the same questions as my friend's 2004 CD. I doubt the 2009 CD will have anything earth-shattering.

IMO, Kaplan has been just repeating material in 2005-06-07-08 editions. I see no reason, they would update anything in 09 but the covers.

It is not OG, so any old edition is as good as new.
Try not. Do or do not. There is no try
