Scoring on Practice Tests

What does it mean if you score pretty high on a Kaplan CAT, but lower on a GMATPrep? I thought the Kaplan CAT scaled down their score.

GMATPrep is the best indicator of your actual score. It is generally observed that Kaplan scores are lesser than the actual scores. If I were you I would give more importance to the GMATprep score.

Yes, Kaplan scales down the scores, but I beleive that some of the problems are tougher than what they are in GMAT Prep. I used to score decenlty on Kaplan, but used to get thrown off by easier problems. THIS CAN HAPPEN! So balance it out and practice both easy and hard problems.
