Resume Q

by Lefty123 » Mon Sep 07, 2009 1:44 pm
Hey guys,

As a medical student much of my previous experience is healthcare related, i.e. research and community involvement.

Would it be alright if I included this in the experience section of my resume?

I am a little unclear on your question, but as a general rule, you should only list in the experience section full time employment post-baccalaureate. If you want to include work done as a student, simply list it under your eductation section along with the appropriate school. This will also keep your resume chronological, which is important.
