Hi All,
I have 55% in my UG (Chemistry). I did my PG in Information Technology through distance education and obtained 72%. I have currently 12 years of experience. I am planning to take GMAT by October.
I am applying to UK schools only by 2010.
Could anyone tell me if my UG marks would be a big roadblock during my admission processes? Please suggest, what shoudl be my strategy to overcome if, if it is so?
thanks.
Cheers.

Hi -
Undergraduate scores are important to the application process, however, you can mitigate weak grades with a very strong GMAT score as well as by taking additional classes (perhaps in accounting, statistics or corporate finance).
Were there any extenuating circumstances surrounding your undergraduate scores? If so, you may consider making use of the optional essay to address these. Further, given that you are so far removed from undergraduate, you could focus on how you have matured since your undergraduate as reflected in your success professionally since then.
I hope this helps.
Best,
Erin
