Hello!!! A little help Please!

How would you multiply:

(2 sqrt 2) X (2 sqrt 2)

Consider this as (2a) x (2a) where a = sqrt2

So you now have 4(a^2)
(sqrt2)^2 = 2
Which means you have 4(2) = 8
