Just checked your analysis with the exam.
So as per your explanation, At question 16 I was at 75%le. that means, Question 16 was of 75%le and the HARDest question faced by me in the whole exam. Fortunately, i answered this one correctly. BUT the exam review at veritas portal is not showing this question in the "list of HARD q answered correctly" by me.
I misspoke when I said that question 16 was the hardest question. What I meant was that is where the exam had the highest estimation of your score. That does not mean that this was the most difficult question or even one of the top 3 most difficult, but rather this is when the computer was estimating you at your highest score. So this is when you were building in the right direction, the wave was building up and then it broke on the next few questions!

Likewise it was a bit of a misstatement to say that you did not face any question over the 75th percentile. What I meant is that the computer never estimated your score as over the 75th. Of course this means that you did not get very many hard questions right. And since you answered most of the questions correctly you must not have faced many hard questions.
Great Insight into the exam. Now, I know what went wrong, but it raised further doubts.
Does GMAT also work like this way? OR is it just Veritas?
This is how the actual test works - it is called Item Response Theory. This test you just took is a bit of an anomaly in that the test just did not give you the hard questions. But you still had a chance to overcome that.
For RC, it is clear that I need to work out a lot more.

ALSO NEED TO SEE WHAT WENT WRONG WITH EASIER Qs
To me this is the takeaway from this exam. Not the score.

IS this score CORRECT. Or AGAIN invalid.

David Sir, Please confirm.

Recent Veritas Test score: 720

Quant: 50
Verbal: 39

SC: 5 correct out of 13
CR: 12 correct out of 13
RC: 10 correct out of 15

Currently, I am checking my mistakes in the SC section.
Hopefully, this time I had a strategy for RC. I need to further refine the same and check the mistakes made.
CR, Only one q was way out of track. The same has been posted in the CR section on BTG.
Hope experts like David, Mitch, Rich and others will help me out in that.

Again - this test is very consistent with your other Veritas tests and your GMATPrep test. You seem to have settled into the 710 to 720 range. You are very consistent, with the exception of one GMATPrep and one Veritas test that were below 700.

I looked through your exam and I see nothing unusual. This seems a valid score consistent with what you have done on other practice exams.

I have responded to the CR question you posted. If you have other questions that you are concerned about you can post those as well!

Thanks a Lot Sir for addressing my specific issue in detail.

After my earlier experience with veritas cat03 (660), It is kind of difficult for me to correlate my progress with each exam. Hope you will shed some light on the below issues related to this Cat-04.

Any area of improvement for me apart from SC?
I think in SC I can do much better and so I am now allocating extra time to SC.

Furthermore, Was there any improvement in RC?
I have done a bit of homework in RC before this exam.

Also, Is my CR good?... reason being I am getting good/consistent results in CR.
I mean can I trust my veritas CR scores?

You always want to verify your improvement with official questions. But assuming that you have not seen similar questions before, you should be able to trust your improvement in CR.

As for reading comp it looks like the questions that you faced were of similar difficulty but this time you got 10 of the right.

I would say that you need to focus on SC. Remember that having one area that is a problem means that the difficulty of the entire section is down. So when your SC is better you will get tougher CR questions and will get credit for your full ability in that section.

The only point of giving an exam for me is to gauge the Progress.
Anyways, I totally agree with you regarding the "difficulty of entire section down". Currently busy with SC, hope to get all things in place next time.

Just finished 5th test in veritas series.
Test Results:
710(49Q, 39V)
CR: 12 correct out of 13
RC: 8 correct out of 15
SC: 8 correct out of 13

Totally exhausted.

Don't know where my efforts are going?
More efforts---> More tough test
End Result: No Improvement.

Need Direction. Experts opinion required.
