Hi All,
In the below question, the OA is "C". Can somebody please help me clear following doubts of mine:
i) understand on what basis should we kick out "A" and "B" ?
ii) Moreover doesn't "C" convey that any one driver has multiple licenses ? What is the problem in the sentence "should have their license permanently revoked" ?
The traffic advisory commission agreed that drivers with more than three convictions for drunk driving should have permanently revoked licenses.
a) should have permanently revoked licenses.
b) should have a permanently revoked license.
c) should have their licenses permanently revoked.
d) are to have revoked their license permanently.
e) are to have a permanently revoked license.
Thanks
Mohit

Actually they are both grammatically ok. You can use plural licenses to emphasize their mulplicity or you can use singular license to emphasize that each driver has a unique license.goelmohit2002 wrote: ii) Moreover doesn't "C" convey that any one driver has multiple licenses ? "Human beings have one heart and two lungs" is correct.
