the only thing I know that its as difficult to get into the IIM program as the top US bschools. Also the median work ex last year was 7 years. So you need a stellar profile with international work ex thenn you should definitely give in a shot with 700+ gmat.

IIM A a broke into FT rankings this year(5 yrs complete) 2 places above ISB. IIM is on 11.
Cheers !!

Quant 47-Striving for 50

Finance Minister announces 5 more IIMs. Great opportunity for students to get a big brand.

As it is, apart from A, B and C, other IIMs stuggle to get good placement. What will happen to Brand IIM?

Many IIMs are at vague locations and exposure to business practices is limited. Is it better to join other big brand B Schools?

Join any IIM, after a few years, you just say you are from IIM, you need not say which one.

MBA only helps to start career with a good job. Placement for the new IIMs is much worse than other good B Schools - join FMS, SPJIMR, NMIMS, or XLRI

These B Schools only get you local jobs, what about global exposure with SP Jain Global?
