Hi Mrinalini,

One of the best places in the world for finding a job related to luxury management is Monaco! The small country is where the world's billionaires spend there leisure time, where tourists throng to rub shoulders with these billionaires and where the famous Monte Carlo casino is situated.

The university there offers an MSc with the specialization you are looking for - luxury management.

Essec offers a relevant MBA program. And NYU stern offers a related specialization. But, I would still think Monace would be a better learning environment, because the people who define what luxury really is, spend time there.

Essec and NYU have a great brand name. And all three institutes mentioned above have great placement records.

I totally agree with you. But i have also heard from someone who studied there, that getting a job in Europe without fluency in either French, Spanish or Italian, can be a tough task. And I am looking for a good ROI as well. Though no doubt I will have a better exposure in UK/Europe.

Would like to know your thoughts on this as well.

Well anyhow, fashion/luxury is pretty global. It's true that you aren't gonna get a French luxury job in France if your French isn't fluent, but you might get a job working for that same French firm working elsewhere in the world. The most famous Luxury programs are that of HEC, ESSEC, and Boconni. Otherwise, studying in major fashion/luxury centers makes sense: Any school in Paris, NYC, London (and there are plenty in all three) should be great for you.

Best,
Jon

Thanks Jon for your reply. But one question, how good would be the ROI on opting for such courses from just a middle ranked school in Paris, NYC, London, since I already have an MBA, and I am looking for nothing but the best in terms of Exposure and ROI. Also a good brand name would definitely be an advantage.

Could you suggest me few top schools apart from HEC, SDA Bocconi and Essec. May be in US who focus on Luxury and Fashion Management.
