1- Why is choice A incorrect? doesn't the construction 'with nearly 90,000 tons a year sold to foreign markets' answer the question HOW Argentina became biggest exporter? Si this part on its own correct?

2- In choice A, is 'almost half of which' wrong in this context? Does it need a full verb?
