Like cabbage, brussels sprouts does well if it is shredded and mixed with a tart apple,
lemon juice, and a dressing of Dijon mustard and mayonnaise.

Can we compare singular cabbage with plural sprouts ?

So is it okay to compare singular cabbage with plural sprouts in such constructions ?

E is correct
Like is needed as comparison is between 2 nouns.Brussel sprout is generally used in plural and here sentence says clearly brussel sprouts which is plural
B& D wrong
A-prounoun error as "it" does not agree with noun
C-as well as changes meaning

OA is E
